Who Remembers all the Meals Consumed Using These?

Does anyone still have their cup and spoon?

Many years ago while visiting in Manitoba, we drove up to Traverse Bay. While walking along the beach, a yellow object caught our eye. Lodged in the rocks along the shore was a yellow “melmac” cup, complete with a laundry number!

This was probably one of many “St. John’s artifacts” left along the canoe routes throughout Canada. It is also one piece of “gear” that no one wanted to lose. Who out there knows the story of the “orange cup”?

Send us your stories of your adventures with the “cup & spoon”.

...And then of course there was another use.
