An album of negatives with a hodge-podge of canoe photos has inspired this week’s gallery. It was difficult to see if the negatives were of one trip or several. I think several.
But this group jumped of the screen – the art of “lining” the canoe is clearly shown and will bring back memories for all the alumni.
Research of some old articles has me thinking this was the 1971 York Factory crew on the Hayes River in northern Manitoba. Any ideas out there?
