This week the a list of the top ten beaches in Canada was released. In Alberta – Devonshire Beach on Lesser Slave Lake made the list, and of course in Manitoba – Grand Beach. These beaches were likely graded using a different criteria then perhaps we would on a St. John’s canoe trip!
The photo on the left was taken on Lake Athabasca – it could rival any great beach in Canada, but for it’s remoteness. What are your memories of beaches on canoe trips? Send us your story.
