Sometimes being windbound was seen as a great break from the routine – and sometimes it was seen as a frustration, holding up the progress to getting to the end of the trip. If the organizers of the trip had planned well – there might even be a football packed for just such an occasion. Or you packed a great book.
What is your memory of being windbound on a canoe trip? Was it a great site? If you had more than one experience of this – what was your favourite windbound site? Send us your memory.
