There were times on canoes trips when obstacles, time or other unforeseen situations necessitated the brigade being moved along quickly. These photos from three different eras show the various means of alternate transportation used. In 1964 it was a farm truck, in 1988 a Coast Guard ship and in 2000 a fishing vessel. Each time it was a great production to complete the process.
