Is it any wonder that alumni from the St. John’s schools have difficulty explaining about their experiences at the school to friends and family. These pictures tell it all! The photo on the left is an archival picture from the 1897 gold rush to the Yukon. On the right is a 1997 photo from the Alberta school’s trip over the Chilkoot Pass. The riches promised may have been different, but the both groups had the experience of a life time. (On the toughness factor – the 1897 guys win hands down!)
